It's pretty impressive for a 19 yo to have the patience and dedication to complete an ultra - let alone do well. Find another race to train for and just keep plugging away. Keep it up man!
- I imagine the results will be posted at the Rattlesnake link in the post above.Cassedayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06903493546022429763noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3681117549787428514.post-37174456887432116342010-07-14T12:21:42.972-04:002010-07-14T12:21:42.972-04:00I had a blast running with you in the early part o...I had a blast running with you in the early part of the race. Congrats on the win, and hopefully if the race happens again next year, I will be able to stay with you throughout. I only started training for this run in May and I was pretty shocked at how well I did. Do you know where and when the results will be posted??

RickyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3681117549787428514.post-13432869534319682652010-07-12T22:01:25.870-04:002010-07-12T22:01:25.870-04:00Thanks Rick - Whatever you do seems to be working ...Thanks Rick - Whatever you do seems to be working as well as many ultras as you do. I got a good laugh when Tammy told you after your finish Saturday that you need to train more though. She'd be a great coach!Cassedayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06903493546022429763noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3681117549787428514.post-12994663983253915362010-07-12T15:38:39.777-04:002010-07-12T15:38:39.777-04:00Adam, Based upon my notes from the 2006 race, the ...Adam, Based upon my notes from the 2006 race, the lows were in the low 60's and the high was in the low 80's with high humidity. Starting off Saturday, we had the low 70's with high humidity, but the humidty seemed to fade as the day warmed. 2006 was my fastest year for me, so I have a feeling that your training is working. To go through the training you have done and to have the outcome that you did, I think you have at least one indicator to show that your training is going in the right direction. To feel best on the climbs further speaks to positive results from your training. Keep staying on the current course and you are going to knock 'em dead at Sawtooth.Rick Grayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00067293157750460416noreply@blogger.com
