3061

I finished 2010 with 3,061 miles under my belt - an anemic amount in comparison to many, but a decent amount considering the number of weeks missed from a few niggling injuries.  This is normally a time of year for reflection, but my mind is firmly focused on the future and the site of this picture above; Springer Mountain, GA and more specifically, the AT.  2011 will be an unprecedented year of challenges and adventure for myself and Kadra.  I just can't believe it is nearly here.  I welcome it with open arms!  HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

  5. 2011 is going to be so awesome! Will you be at Helvetia for the Annual Meeting? Reynolds and I will be running the Weymouth Woods 100K at the same time. I will send Dan a message for the meeting.
Look forward to crossing paths before either Cheat Mtn or the WV Trilogy! MMT is spring target!

  6. Sophie, Rick, and Chris: Thanks for the kind words and I look forward to seeing you all soon. Happy New Year!
Kim: I will be in Helvetia; I wish you could be as well. You are really running solid these days - I think you are going to kill it at MMT! I should be somewhere in sw-VA at that point, otherwise I would be there.

  7. My jealousy knows no bounds re: your upcoming AT adventure! Kudos to you for planning the endlessly complicated time/work/life schedule necessary for this amazing adventure to happen. All of us are reminded of the invaluable life lesson to seize the day (or 'The Months', int he case of the AT!) through your excellent planning and adventurous spirit! Happy New Year to you and Kadra!
