The year proved to be the least mileage in 22-years, but that doesn't tell the whole story. I had a few injuries that thwarted some progress, but honestly the year shaped up to be a fairly healthy and balance year in my pursuit of endurance. I added consistent weight training -- 2-4 strength work-outs per week -- and added some quality strength and muscle to make myself more resilient. Also, I was consistent with cross training on the bike.
